Also, he would like to see the expediting of serious needed updates so that other departments can access more easily. Quality control was mentioned. Chris stated the need for possibly another server. The cost for Arc SDE License is $10,000.00 and the maintenance fee per year would be $3,000. With this in place we could have unlimited users. The desktop License we have now only supports 2 users at this time. Fiberville was discussed. The Zoning map is 1 ½ years behind on-line. Question arose as to how much Rukert Mielke charges per year. GCS has a module that we can purchase so that we would be able to send our data to the State for the statewide mapping. According to the GCS contract, it should be provided to us without a fee. This will be forwarded on to Corporation Counsel. Also, Tammy is wondering where the GCS update for the referendum information to be placed the tax bill is. This will also be forwarded on to Corporation Counsel. We would like a letter to be written to GCS regarding both of these items. Pro West, Local Government Information Module was discussed. This allows specific users to enter specific data, but also data can be shared will other users. Tammy suggested: what we have now, what we need, and where we want to be should be decided. Meeting adjourned. Motion carried.
