Minutes: Tiffany Ehlen, second by Steve Braun made a motion to approve the minutes from the November 15, 2023 meeting. Motion carried by a voice vote. PLSS Remonumentation Status Update: Waiting for an update from Jay Adams. Catalis Update: Erik Heagle said Tracy Kane will be the point of contact in the conservation office. We are waiting for a new contract with Catalis with them NOT redoing our county website. We need to be cautious- once we go with a cloud vendor and have uploaded our data to that vendor we are stuck with that vendor. Land Information Plan Drafting Discussion: Tiffany Ehlen wants us all to go through the old Land Info Plan and update anything that has to pertains to our own offices. Also think about any regular maintenance of programs that we already have and any future projects you may want done that would go through land information. Trimble DA2 1-Month Trial Project discussion & possible action: Tiffany Ehlen received the equipment and a 1-month free trial at a conference. Its very user friendly and will work well as a locator. Tiffany would like a plan of what we would like to do in place before we start our free trial to get the most use of it. You can pick and choose what type of plan you would like to have. GPS Acquisition discussion & possible action: Erik Heagle said CSZD would be the gate keepers & trainers of this if we were to purchase. The quote at the beginning of Jan 2024 for everything except the cellular Wi-Fi chip would be between $50,000-$60,000. This is a onetime purchase amount with no subscription or maintenance plan needed. Erik Heagle made a motion to add this to the next Land Information plan instead of amending the current plan, seconded by Tiffany Ehlen. Motion carried by a voice vote. Land Division Ordinance discussion: Erik Heagle wants everyone to read the Land Division Ordinance and see how they interpret it. It has never been updated and was written in the 1970’s. This will be added as a Land Information Plan bench mark to re-write this ordinance. Adjournment: Carrie Eastlick, second by Steve Braun made a motion to adjourn. Motion carried by voice vote.
