HomeMy WebLinkAbout12172025 Land Information minutesLand Information December 17, 2024 The Land Information Council met on Tuesday December 17 at 2:30 p.m. in the County Board Room 264 of the Administration Building, 111 S. Jefferson St., Lancaster WI. Members present: Tiffany Ehlen, Carrie Eastlick, Andrea Noethe, Shane Drinkwater, Robert Keeney, Austin Coppernoll, Tammy Hampton, Jay Adams, and Jaclyn Essandoh. The meeting was called to order at 2:31 p.m. Tiffany Ehlen verified that the meeting was in compliance with the open meeting law, posted in the Courthouse and Administration Building. Agenda: Andrea Noethe, second by Carrie Eastlick made a motion to approve the agenda. Motion carried by voice vote. Minutes: Andrea Noethe, second by Shane Drinkwater made a motion to approve the minutes from the September 12, 2024 meeting. Motion carried by a voice vote. Discussion and possible action on adoption of 2025-2027 Land Information Plan: Tiffany will add scanning tax rolls for the Treasurer’s office to the land information plan. Shane Drinkwater made a motion to approve the 2025-2027 Land Information Plan, seconded by Carrie Eastlick. Motion carried by a voice vote. Discussion and possible action for Land Records Management System Transition: Carrie Eastlick stated the sooner we sign the contract the better date options we would have in 2026 to complete the transition. Shane Drinkwater would like a discovery with Catalis to make sure it will operate the same or better with the cloud base. He would also like an inventory of all the functions/workflows each office and municipality uses to compare with the contract they want us to sign by mid-January. GCS may be available until 2029 so we have a little time to do this discovery. Catalis will do more demo’s if we want them too. Overview of the Abolishment of Personal Property Taxes by the RPL: Tammy Hampton gave an overview on the abolishment of personal property. There are 2 options- Personal Property can be added to the real estate parcel that it sits on or a separate tax parcel could be created. Adjournment: Tiffany Ehlen, second by Shane Drinkwater made a motion to adjourn. Motion carried by voice vote.
