August 17, 2010
A special meeting of the Grant County Highway Committee was held on Tuesday,
August 17, 2010 on the 2nd floor of the Grant County Administration Building in
Lancaster, Wisconsin. Vice Chairman Donald Splinter called the meeting to order
at 5:15 P.M..
Members present besides the Vice Chairman were Mark Stead, Vern Lewison, Pat
Schroeder, and Highway Commissioner David Lambert. Also present was County Board
Chairman John Patcle, Bob Keeney, Jeff Lutes, and Dave Timmerman. Highway
Committee Chairman Margaret Ruf was absent.
John Patcle, seconded by Pat Schroeder, moved that the meeting is in compliance
with the open meetings law. Motion carried.
Pat Schroeder, seconded by Vern Lewison, moved to approve the agenda as
printed. Motion carried.
Pat Schroeder, seconded by Donald Splinter, moved to approve the Truck Country
proposal to trade Grant County a 2011 Freightliner M2106V, built to Grant County's
specifications and fully equipped with equipment from Burke Truck and Equipment
Inc., in exchange for the wrecked 2009 Peterbilt for the amount of $12,000.00.
Motion carried.
John Patcle, seconded by Mark Stead, moved to adjourn at 5:20 P.M..
Motion carried.
