EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
December 19, 2023
The Executive Committee of the Grant County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday,
December 19, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. The meeting was held in Room 266 of the Administration
building and via Zoom.
Notice of the meeting was posted in the Administration Building, Courthouse, and on the Grant
County website.
The meeting was called to order by Chair Gary Ranum. Other members present were Carol
Beals, Donald Splinter, John Beinborn, Robert Keeney, Roger Guthrie and Steve (Porter)
Wagner. A quorum was present. Joyce Roling was also in attendance. Amanda Degenhardt
participated via telephone.
John Beinborn, seconded by Roger Guthrie, moved to approve the agenda. Motion carried
without negative vote.
Donald Splinter, seconded by Porter Wagner, moved to go into closed session 19.85 (1) (e)
deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or
conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a
closed session related to the award of Audit Contract. Roll call vote resulted in a passed motion.
Donald Splinter, seconded by Robert Keeney, moved to return to open session. Motion carried
without negative vote.
Roger Guthrie, seconded by Porter Wagner, moved to award the Audit Services Contract to Eide
Bailly. Motion carried without negative vote.
John Beinborn, seconded by Roger Guthrie, moved to adjourn to the call of the Chair. Motion
carried without negative vote.
