EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
July 19, 2011
The Executive Committee of the Grant County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday, July 19,
2011 at 5:00 p.m. in Room 201 of the Administration Building, Lancaster, WI.
The meeting was called to order by Chair Robert Keeney. Other members present were Larry
Wolf, John Patcle, Mark Stead, Steve Adrian, Pat Schroeder, and Ivan Farness. Therefore a
quorum was present. Also in attendance were Robert Scallon, Sheriff Govier, and Joyce Roling.
Joyce Roling confirmed the meeting was in compliance with open meeting law. The agenda was
sent to the media and posted in the Administration Building, Courthouse, and on the Grant
County website.
Mark Stead, seconded by Ivan Farness, moved to approve the agenda as posted. Motion carried
without negative vote.
Larry Wolf, seconded by John Patcle, moved to go into closed session per state statute 19.85 (1)
(c) regarding personnel matters. Roll call vote resulted in a carried motion.
Larry Wolf, seconded by Mark Stead, moved to return to open session. Motion carried without
negative vote.
Patrick Schroeder, seconded by Ivan Farness, moved to authorize the County Board Chair John
Patcle and Executive Committee Chair Robert Keeney to work with Personnel Director and
Sheriff to negotiate a close to the personnel matter at hand in the best interest of the county.
Motion carried without negative vote.
Mark Stead, seconded by Larry Wolf, moved to adjourn at 5:35 p.m.
