HomeMy WebLinkAbout10 Executive Minutes 2021 10 18Approved 11/09/2021 Page 1 of 1 EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE October 18, 2021 The Executive Committee of the Grant County Board of Supervisors met on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. The meeting was held in the County Board Room of the Administration building and via Zoom. The meeting was called to order by Chair, Gary Ranum. Other members present were Mark Stead, Donald Splinter, Mike Lieurance, Dwight Nelson, and Robert Keeney. John Patcle asked to be excused. Therefore a quorum was present. Shane Drinkwater, Joyce Roling, Amanda Degenhardt, Tonya White, Lori Reid, Nate Dreckman, and Fred Naatz were also in attendance. Notice of the meeting was posted in the Grant County Administration Building, Courthouse, and on the Grant County website. Donald Splinter, seconded by Mike Lieurance, moved to approve the agenda. Motion carried without negative vote. Robert Keeney, seconded by Donald Splinter, moved to rescind the motion previously approved on October 12, 2021 by the Executive Committee to balance the budget by using $490,920 of debt repayment outside the levy limit to increase the mill rate. Motion carried without negative vote. Robert Keeney, seconded by Mark Stead, moved to direct the Finance Director to decrease the levy requested by the Department of Social Services by $507,957, and use that amount from their reserve fund to balance the budget for 2022. Motion carried without negative vote. The committee reviewed and confirmed the language change of the Resolution Establishing non- represented wages for 2022. Mark Stead, seconded by Mike Lieurance, moved to adjourn to November 9, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. Motion carried without negative vote.
