EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
August 16, 2022
The Executive Committee of the Grant County Board of Supervisors held a special meeting on
Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. The meeting was held in conference room 266 in the
Administration building.
The meeting was called to order by Chair Gary Ranum. Other members present were Carol
Beals, Donald Splinter, Roger Guthrie, Robert Keeney, and Steve (Porter) Wagner. John
Beinborn asked to be excused. A quorum was present. Shane Drinkwater, Julie Mayne, Angela
Nielsen, Diane Nelson, and Dwight Nelson were also in attendance.
Notice of the meeting was posted in the Grant County Herald Independent, Administration
Building, Courthouse, and on the Grant County website.
Roger Guthrie, seconded by Porter Wagner, moved to approve the agenda. Motion carried
without negative vote.
Donald Splinter, seconded by Porter Wagner, moved to approve Orchard Manor’s request to
increase weekend shift differential for nursing staff from $2.00 per hour to $5.00 per hour
through the end of the year at which time it will be evaluated for continuance. Fiscal impact to
come out of current budget. Motion carried without negative vote.
Porter Wagner, seconded by Roger Guthrie, moved to adjourn. Motion carried without negative
vote.
