Conservation, Sanitation & Zoning Committee
THE GRANT COUNTY CONSERVATION, SANITATION AND ZONING COMMITTEE will call the
meeting to order on Thursday, July 06, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. in Grant County Board Room #264 in the
Administration Building. Please use the following procedures to access the meeting remotely. Please contact our
office at 608-723-6377 ext. 4 with any questions. Consideration will be given and/or action taken on any or all of

+/- 12.44 ac. PIN:012-00313-0010 & 012-00312-0000
Public Hearing for Conditional Use Permits
#CUP23-009, Jerry Allen, Liberty Twp., +/- 1.33 ac. PIN:028-00201-0010 to allow for the proposed use
of long term storage units under 3.11 (2) (h) of the Grant County Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.
#CUP23-010 – James & Kimberly Trumm, Watterstown Twp., +/- 3.5 ac. PIN:060-00313-0010 to allow
for the proposed use of an accessory structure (pole shed) being built prior to a principal structure
(home) being established under 3.06 (2) (i) & 3.07 (2) (a) of the Grant County Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance.
#CUP23-011 – D & S Wilkie LLC, Wingville Twp., +/- 3.0 ac. PIN:062-00661-0000 to allow for the
proposed use of an accessory structure (shed) being built prior to a principal structure (home) being
established under 3.06 (2) (i) & 3.07 (2) (a) of the Grant County Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.
#CUP23-012 – Living Hope Mennonite Church, Muscoda Twp., +/- 19.17 ac. PIN:042-00254-0000 to
allow for the proposed use of a church under 3.07 (2) (c) of the Grant County Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance.
#CUP23-013 – Pelky’s Midway LLC, Potosi Twp., +/- 1.28 ac. PIN:052-00483-0000 to allow for the
continued use of a bar under 3.12 (2) (a) of the Grant County Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance. The
applicant is required to obtain a zoning permit for the fence and patio that were constructed in 2022.
#CUP23-014 – Louis Vogt, Jamestown Twp., +/- 30.0 ac. PIN:026-00788-0000, 026-00406-000, and
026-00402-0000 to allow for the continued use of a nonmetallic mining under 3.05 E (3) of the Grant
County Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.
#CUP23-015 – Scanlan Brothers LLC, Liberty Twp., +/- 16.3 ac. PIN:028-00131-0000 &
028-00147-0000 to allow for the continued use of nonmetallic mining under 3.05 E (3) of the Grant
County Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.
#CUP23-008 – Whitetail Wind, LLC, Wingville and Clifton Twp., to allow for the use of a large wind
energy system under Chapter 270 Subsection III 1.1 of the Grant County Wind Energy Siting
Ordinance.
