EDUCATION/FAIR COMMITTEE MEETING
Monday, August 17, 2009
9:00 a.m.
UWEX Conference Room
Lancaster, WI
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Steve Adrian. Present, in addition to Chairman
Adrian were Lynn Moris, Bob Keeney, Vince Loeffelholz, Kyle Vesperman, John Patcle, Ted
Bay, Dolores Schwantes and Joe Lolwing.
Motion by John Patcle, seconded by Vince Loeffelholz, that the meeting was in compliance with
the open meeting law. Motion carried.
Motion by Lynn Moris, seconded by Kyle Vesperman, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Motion by Vince Loeffelholz, seconded by Kyle Vesperman, to approve the minutes of the
meeting held August 3, 2009. Motion carried.
Joe Lolwing gave the grounds and maintenance report. The railing on the grandstand has been
installed. Joe will check with Sanger about repairing barn cooler roof.
Ted Bay presented UW-Extension business. Motion by Kyle Vesperman, seconded by Lynn
Moris, to approve the UW-Extension and Youth & Ag Center vouchers. Motion carried.
Dolores Schwantes presented Fair and Fairgrounds business.
Motion by Vince Loeffelholz, seconded by Bob Keeney, to approve the Fair vouchers. Motion
carried.
Discussion was held on fair activitites.
Motion by Lynn Moris, seconded by Vince Loeffelholz, to adjourn. Motion carried.
Adjourned at 11:50 a.m.
