The meeting was called back to order by the Committee Chairman John Patcle. Present in
addition to Patcle was Bob Keeney, Vince Loeffelholz, Pat Schroeder, Grant Loy, Roger
Guthrie, Larry Wolf, Bev Doll and Amy Olson.
Carnival was up again yesterday. Jack reported that things are going well and they had to tow 1
vehicle down by the hog barn yesterday. Jackie expressed concern of more volunteers next year.
Also there was concern of the small ambulance cart being on the infield during Saturdays event.
It went across the track as a tractor was going to pull. Jackie said that there was no reason for
that cart to be on the track with the ambulance back there. Betsy reported that they were not
happy with the swine judge this year. Amy will look into someone different next year.
Discussion was held about the low numbers in the grandstand and what to do next year. Also it
was discussed to possibly have parking signs for the buyers who come to the Livestock Auction.
Motion by Grant, seconded by Pat to adjorn to a later date in September that will be set by
Chairman John Patcle. Motion carried
