JOINT MEETING WITH LAFAYETTE COUNTY
Tuesday, October 2, 2012
1:00 p.m.
UWEX Conference Room
Lancaster, WI
Present: John Patcle, Bob Keeney, Vince Loeffelholz, Pat Schroeder, Grant Loy, Larry Wolf,
Bev Doll, Ted Bay, Dave Wachter, Matt Hanson, Leon Wolfe, Carol Korn, John Bartels, Jack
Wiegel, Mary Knellwolf, Ela Kakde and Jennifer Russell.
The meeting was called to order by Lafayette County Chairperson Leon Wolfe
The meeting notice was posted at the Administration Building, Extension Office, Youth & Ag
Center, and media by Jenny Dixon.
Motion by Jack Wiegel, seconded by Carol Korn, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Ted Bay gave a presentation on the 2012 North American Manure Expo and Grant County Needs
assessment. Dave Wachter reported on the Grant County Needs assessment.
Lafayette County Ag & Extension Committee members and faculty and Grant County Ag &
Extension Committee members and faculty along with the Southwest Region Director attended
the meeting to discuss a memorandum of understanding between Grant and Lafayette Counties.
Motion by Pat Schroeder, seconded by Jack Wiegel to approve the Memorandum of
Understanding with Lafayette County. Motion carried.
Motion by Pat Schroeder, seconded by Bob Keeney to pass the Lancaster Vet Clinic livestock
claim in the amount of $215.70 on to the full county board. Motion carried.
The livestock claim by animal owner in the amount of $150 was sent back due to no
documentation of investigation.
Motion by Pat Schroeder, seconded by Vince Loeffelholz, to adjourn until October 15, 2012 at
9:00 a.m. Motion carried.
Adjourned at 2:05 p.m.
