EDUCATION/FAIR COMMITTEE MEETING
Monday, August 26, 2013
9:00 a.m.
UWEX Conference Room
Lancaster, WI
The meeting was called to order by Chairman John Patcle. Present, in addition to Chairman
Patcle were Bob Keeney, Vince Loeffelholz, Pat Schroeder, Grant Loy, Roger Guthrie, Larry
Wolf, Matt Hanson, Bev Doll and Ted Bay.
The meeting notice was posted at the Administration Building, Extension Office, Youth & Ag
Center, county website and media by Jenny Dixon.
Motion by Roger Guthrie, seconded by Grant Loy, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Motion by Vince Loeffelholz, seconded by Bob Keeney, to move to closed session per State
Statute 19.85 (1) (c) to conduct interviews for the 4-H Youth Development position. Motion
carried.
Motion by Pat Schroeder, seconded by Roger Guthrie, to return to open session.
Motion by Bob Keeney, seconded by Grant Loy, to offer the 4-H Youth Development position to
Candidate #1. If Candidate #1 does not accept, offer the position to Candidate #2. Motion
carried.
Discussion was held on the death of a pig transported to Webers.
Motion by Pat Schroeder, seconded by Roger Guthrie, to adjourn. Motion carried.
