EDUCATION/FAIR COMMITTEE MEETING

4:00p.m.
The meeting was called to order by the Committee Chairman John Patcle. Present in addition to Patcle
was Bob Keeney, Mark Stead, Pat Schroeder, Grant Loy, Roger Guthrie, Dan Timmerman, Jack Johnson,
and Amy Olson.
Discussion was held on the make-up tractor pull with Tri-State Tractor and Truck Pull. Bloomington
Sportmans Club is willing to run the food stand. Lancaster Sluggers is willing to run the beer garden.
Both groups will be asked to come to the next fair board meeting on September 2nd. Amy will order the
beer, food, and pop. We will keep the menu at a minimum. Tri-State is to carry the insurance for the
event and we will provide the paperwork for liability to Tri-State for the pits. Everyone is to sign in that
enters the pit. Grandstand is free admission. Bob Keeney will contact Randy Oyen for the grader. Pat
Schroeder will contact Reddy Ag and Premier for the sprayer and water truck. We will use our own PA
system that day and Jack Johnson reported that there is no need to have police present.
Motion by Roger Guthrie, seconded by Dan Timmerman to have a make-up tractor pull with Tri-State
Tractor and Truck Pullers on September 14, 2014. Motion carried.
Motion by Mark Stead, seconded by Dan Timmerman to adjourn to September 2, 2014. Motion carried.
