JOINT MEETING WITH LAFAYETTE COUNTY
Monday, August 4, 2014

Platteville, WI
Present: Leon Wolfe, John Bartels, Larry Ludlum, Carol Korn, Jack Wiegel, John Patcle, Pat
Schroeder, Grant Loy, Roger Guthrie, Mark Stead, Dan Timmerman, Bob Keeney, Bev Doll, Ted
Bay, Joy Gieseke, Mary Knellwolf and Matt Hanson.
The meeting was called to order by Lafayette County Chairperson John Bartels.
The meeting notice was posted at the Administration Building, Extension Office, Youth & Ag
Center, and media by Jenny Dixon.
Motion by Mark Stead, seconded by Grant Loy, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Objectives and goals of a shared partnership of agriculture agents between Grant and Lafayette
Counties was discussed.
Motion by Pat Schroeder, second by Leon Wolfe to request Southwest Region Director, Matt
Hanson, to start the process of posting a joint Grant/Lafayette Ag position ($50,000-$55,000).
Motion carried.
Motion by Mark Stead, seconded by Roger Guthrie, to adjourn to the call of the chair. Motion
carried.
