EDUCATION/FAIR COMMITTEE MEETING
Monday, March 23, 2015
9:00 a.m.
UWEX Conference Room
Lancaster, WI
The meeting was called to order by Chairman John Patcle. Present, in addition to Chairman
Patcle were Grant Loy, Pat Schroeder, Roger Guthrie, Dan Timmerman, Bob Keeney, Matt
Hanson, Bev Doll and Ted Bay, John Bartels, Carol Korn, Leon Wolfe, Lori Berget and Mary
Knellwolf.
The meeting notice was posted at the Administration Building, Extension Office, Youth & Ag
Center, county website and media by Jenny Dixon.
Motion by Grant Loy, seconded by Pat Schroeder, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Motion by Leon Wolfe, seconded by John Bartels, to move to closed session per State Statute
19.85 (1) (c) to conduct interviews for the Dairy and Livestock Agent position. Roll call vote
unanimous. Motion carried.
Motion by John Bartels, seconded by Dan Timmerman, to return to open session. Motion carried.
Motion by Carol Korn, seconded by Pat Schroeder, to offer the Dairy and Livestock Agent
position to Candidate #1. If Candidate #1 does not accept, offer the position to Candidate #3 and
if not accepted to #2. Motion carried.
Motion by Pat Schroeder, seconded by Roger Guthrie to award the Farm Progress Days
Scholarship to Kari Breuer. Motion carried.
Motion by Roger Guthrie, seconded by Grant Loy, to adjourn. Motion carried.
