JOINT MEETING WITH LAFAYETTE COUNTY
Monday, November 3, 2014
7:00 p.m.
UW Platteville Pioneer Farm
Technology Center
Platteville, WI
Present: Leon Wolfe, John Bartels, Larry Ludlum, Carol Korn, Jack Wiegel, Jack Sauer, John
Patcle, Grant Loy, Mark Stead, Dan Timmerman, Pat Schroeder, Bob Keeney, Bev Doll, Ted
Bay, Lori Berget, Joy Gieseke, Mary Knellwolf and Matt Hanson.
The meeting was called to order by Grant County Committee Chairperson John Patcle.
The meeting notice was posted at the Administration Building, Extension Office, Youth & Ag
Center, and media by Jenny Dixon.
Motion by Pat Schroeder, seconded by John Bartels, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Matt Hanson, Southwest Region Director, provided updates and each county committee shared
their perspective of where they are with budgets and what each committee would like to see.
Motion by Pat Schroeder, seconded by Mark Stead to share the Dairy & Livestock Agent position
80% Grant County/20% Lafayette County and Crops and Farm Management Agent position
60% Grant County/40% Lafayette County with hopes to get the Dairy & Livestock position to a
60/40 split by the 2016 budget.
Motion by Mark Stead, seconded by Grant Loy, to adjourn. Motion carried.
