EDUCATION/FAIR COMMITTEE MEETING
Friday, May 1, 2015

The meeting was called to order by Chairman John Patcle. Present, in addition to Chairman
Patcle were Grant Loy, Pat Schroeder, Roger Guthrie, Dan Timmerman, Bob Keeney, Matt
Hanson, Bev Doll and Ted Bay. Mark Stead was excused.
The meeting notice was posted at the Administration Building, Extension Office, Youth & Ag
Center, county website and media by Jenny Dixon.
Motion by Pat Schroeder, seconded by Dan Timmerman, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Motion by Grant Loy, seconded by Roger Guthrie, to move to closed session per State Statute
19.85 (1) (c) to conduct interviews for the Community Resource Development Agent position.
Roll call vote unanimous. Motion carried.
Motion by Pat Schroeder, seconded by Dan Timmerman, to return to open session. Motion
carried.
Motion by Dan Timmerman, seconded by Pat Schroeder, to offer the Community Resource
Development Agent position to Candidate #2. If Candidate #2 declines, offer the position to
Candidate #1. Motion carried.
Motion by Roger Guthrie, seconded by Dan Timmerman, to adjourn. Motion carried.
