EDUCATION/FAIR COMMITTEE MEETING

The meeting was called back to order by the Committee Chairman Roger Guthrie. Present in addition to
Guthrie was Bob Keeney, John Patcle, Mark Stead, Mike Lieurance, Gary Northouse, Nate Dreckman,
Steve Braun, Deb Reukauf, Barb Larke, Amanda Cauffman, Charisse Orth, and Amy Olson.
Barb reported on the carnival and turned their financial statement to Amy Olson.
Nate Dreckman reported of some kids fighting in midway but nothing overnight.
Deb Reukauf reported nothing overnight.
Steve Braun reported on a gentleman that fell down the grandstand steps after an event. He did have a bad
knee and tripped down the steps. He was taken into the hospital and Amy will call Tricor on Monday
with information on the accident.
Bob Keeney reported on the tractor pull last night. We had 1 10 hooks and it was a good show. Discussed
the ATV/UTV and Garden Tractors pulling alongside them. There was a report of people not being able
to hear in the grandstand if you were seated on the west side. Amy will contact Tower Sound and have
them look into it.
Discussion was held on Night of Destruction attendance. We will sell 1500 tickets only at this event to
help the seating capacity. Once these are gone we may sell 200 more tickets if there is room.
Motion by, John Patcle, seconded by Mike Lieurance to adjourn to August 29"' at 9am. Motion carried
