EDUCATION/FAIR COMMITTEE MEETING
Monday, March 26, 2018
9:00 a.m.
The meeting was called to order by Committee Chairman Roger Guthrie. Present, in addition to
Guthrie were John Patcle, Mark Stead, Grant Loy, Dan Timmerman, Mike Lieurance, Bob Keeney,
Amy Olson, Lori Vesperman, Keith Dalsing, Missy Jinkins, John Kohlenberg, Todd Wolf, Paul
Langmeier, Kevin Zart, Roger Austin and Ted Schacht.
The meeting notice was posted at the Administration Building, UW-Extension Office, Youth &
Agriculture Center and media by Amy Olson.
Bid opening for the swine barn was done by Keith Dalsing, KD Engineer Consultants. Five bids were
presented. All bids included Base Bid, Alternate #1 and Alternate #2.
Top Notch Construction $213,143.00
Burnham Lumber Company $228,444.00
Wolf Construction $195,633.00
Jim’s Building Center $202,000.00
Rock Church Construction $232,000.00
Motion by Mark Stead, seconded by Dan Timmerman, to accept a bid from Wolf Construction, LLC,
for construction of the swine barn for a total cost of $195,633.00 contingent upon review and
approval by KD Engineering Consultants. Motion carried.
Motion by Dan Timmerman, seconded by Mike Lieurance, to adjourn. Motion carried.
The next regular scheduled meeting will be Monday, April 16, at 9:00 a.m.
