EDUCATION/FAIR COMMITTEE MEETING
Youth & Ag Center, Conference Room,

8:30 a.m.
The meeting was called to order by Committee Chairman Pat Schroeder. Present in addition to
Chairman Schroeder were Roger Guthrie, Gary Northouse, Joe Mumm, Kathy Kopp, Porter
Wagner, Bob Keeney, Amy Olson, Lori Vesperman, Amanda Cauffman, Charisse Orth, Nate
Dreckman, Deb Reukauf, Steve Braun, Vince Heiman and Kathy Mead.
The meeting notice was posted at the Administration Building, Extension Office and Youth &
Ag Center and media by Amy Olson.
Motion by Gary Northouse, seconded by Joe Mumm, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
The carnival report was given by Vince Heiman and Kathy Mead. Discussion was held on
concern of the long line at the ticket booth.
Nate Dreckman and Deb Reukauf reported no issues. Steve Braun shared the weather report.
Discussion was held on the on the release and destination of swine due to expected high
temperatures.
Discussion was held on the woodcarvings that will be done at the fair.
Recess until 8:30 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2023.
