EDUCATION/FAIR COMMITTEE MEETING
Youth & Ag Center, Conference Room,

8:30 a.m.
The meeting was called to order by Committee Chairman Pat Schroeder. Present in addition to
Chairman Schroeder were Roger Guthrie, Gary Northouse, Joe Mumm, Kathy Kopp, Porter
Wagner, Bob Keeney, Amy Olson, Lori Vesperman, Amanda Cauffman, Charisse Orth, Travis
Klaas, Deb Reukauf, Steve Braun, Vince Heiman and Kathy Mead.
The meeting notice was posted at the Administration Building, Extension Office and Youth &
Ag Center and media by Amy Olson.
Motion by Joe Mumm, seconded by Porter Wagner, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
The carnival report was given by Vince Heiman and Kathy Mead.
Travis Klaas and Deb Reukauf reported no issues. Steve Braun shared the weather report.
Early release of swine and other species that will need to complete a load will be at 7:00 a.m. on
Sunday due to high temperatures.
The woodcarvings will be auctioned off on Tim Slack’s website. Bidding will start on August 23
and end on August 30 at 6:00 p.m.
Recess until 8:30 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2023.
