Executive Committee Board Minutes
September 11, 2013
The meeting was called to order by Chair Mary Yager at 11:00 a.m. at the ADRC Large
Conference /Board Room, 8820 Hwy 35/61 South, Lancaster, Wisconsin.

Open Meeting Law:
Pink/Hood: Motion that we are in compliance with the open meeting act. Motion carried.
Agenda Approval:
Hood/Pink: Motion to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Action Items:
MIPPA Grant – Reid asked for approval to submit a $3000 MIPPA (Medicare Improvements for
Patients and Providers Act) grant due September 16, 2013. There is no match required. Reid
explained that the grant funds would be used to provided education and outreach to
individuals in Grant County who may be eligible to apply for the Medicare Part D Extra
Help/Low-Income Subsidy (LIS),the Medicare Savings Programs (MSPs), and SeniorCare Level 1.
The funds must also be used for outreach activities aimed at preventing disease and promoting
wellness.
Hood/Pink: Motion to approve submitting MIPPA grant for $3000. Motion carried.
