Board Minutes
August 19, 2015
The meeting was called to order by Chair Mary Lou Bausch at 9:00 a.m. at the ADRC Large Conference
Room, 8820 HWY 35/61 South, Lancaster, Wisconsin.
Attendance: Lester Jantzen, Mary Lou Bausch, Jan Lintvedt, Lori Reid, Mike Lieurance, Dave Janney,
Carrie Bell, Bob Keeney, Steve Wetter, Shirley Pink
Excused:
Others Present: Crystal Riley
Compliance with Open Meeting Law:
It was noted the meeting is in compliance with the open meeting act. (Published via website, radio,
newspaper and posted at the Grant County Administration Building).
Agenda Approval:
Jantzen/Pink: Motion to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes- July 15, 2015
Wetter/Janney: Motion to approve July 15, 2015 minutes. Motion Carried.
Public Comment/Communication: None.
Advocacy Reports or Activities:
ADRC Regional Board Meeting Report:
Bausch stated they received legislative updates. Reid discussed that the state will require more data
gathering for outcomes. A joint governing board meeting with ADRC –Eagle Country will occur in the
future. Reid also discussed Iris, Family Care, and ContinuUs in response to a question from the board.
Other Items:
Public Hearing Comments:
Reid stated that the public hearing was held on August 13th. One person attended the hearing. This
individual was very appreciative of ADRC transportation services for doctor’s appointments. Would like
to see increased days for taxi services in Lancaster. Health insurance was a priority.
2016-2019 Aging Plan Draft
Reid provided handouts and reviewed the aging plan with the board. 3 year goals were based on
written surveys, ADRC call topics, issues identified by the board, county initiatives, demographics, future
trends and public hearing comments. Reid discussed that the draft plan is due September 1 and the final
plan due in November. The report along with the budget is submitted to GWAAR.
Wetter/Pink: Motion to approve the Aging Plan Draft. Motion carried.
Financial Report:
Lieurance/Bell: Motion to accept the financial report. Motion carried.
Approval of Vouchers:
Bell/Lintvedt: Motion to approve vouchers. Motion carried.
ADRC Grant County Director’s Report/Program Reports-
Started LEAN project with Part D
Working on budgets and Aging Plan
Public hearing held August 13th. One participant attended.
Ruth Rotramel and Lori Reid attended the Regional Nutrition Director’s training. Training on
food service operations, assessments, state updates, etc.
Information and Assistance staff and managers received Estate Recovery Training.
Information and Assistance staff will be implementing a quality improvement project around
follow-ups starting Sept. 1.
ADRC Director’s call stated that contracts will be more specific and outcome based.
