HomeMy WebLinkAbout2019 09 17 Law Enforcement and Emg Mgmt Minutes unapproved 1 LAW ENFORCEMENT AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DISASTER SERVICES COMMITTEE MINUTES September 17, 2019 The Law Enforcement and Emergency Disaster Services Committee of the Grant County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. in room 266 of the Administration Building, Lancaster, WI. The meeting was called to order by Chair Gary Ranum. Other members present were Robert Keeney, Patrick Schroeder, John Beinborn, and Greg Fry. Therefore a quorum was present. Also in attendance were Phyllis Fuerstenberg, Nathan Dreckman, Jack Johnson, Steve Braun, Joyce Roling, Robert Scallon, and Shane Drinkwater. Notice of the meeting was sent to the media and the agenda was posted in the Administration Building, Courthouse, Sheriff’s Department, and on the Grant County website. John Beinborn, seconded by Greg Fry, moved to approve the agenda. Motion carried without negative vote. After review and discussion, Robert Keeney, seconded by Patrick Schroeder, moved to forward the Coroner’s 2020 Budget to the Grant County Board of Supervisors. Motion carried without negative vote. After review and discussion, Patrick Schroeder, seconded by John Beinborn, moved to forward the Sheriff’s 2020 Budget to the Grant County Board of Supervisors. Motion carried without negative vote. Robert Keeney, seconded by Greg Fry, moved to forward the Jail Staffing Agreement, with changes, to the Grant County Board of Supervisors with a recommendation for approval. Motion carried without negative vote. After review and discussion, John Beinborn, seconded by Greg Fry, moved to forward the Emergency Management 2020 Budget to the Grant County Board of Supervisors. Motion carried without negative vote. Patrick Schroeder, seconded by John Beinborn, moved to adjourn to October 14, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. Motion carried without negative vote.
