Steve passed out a spreadsheet listing the grants that were submitted, which outlined 35 applications for a combined total of $4,145,641 in equipment and vehicles. Steve discussed regional grants that were submitted. There were two regional grants written for wildland firefighting gear including protective coats, pants, boots, helmets and other equipment to fight wildland fires.
