Open Meeting Law Certification: The agenda was posted online, sent to the news media and posted in county buildings. Approval of Agenda: Brian Lucey made a motion to approve the agenda, second by Diane Nelson. Carried Approval of Minutes (08/23/2022): Diane Nelson made a motion to approve the minutes from the August meeting as presented, second by Mary Kay Logemann. Carried. Public Comments: None Vouchers Elias Cox made a motion to approve the vouchers for August and September, second by Brian Lucey. Carried. Monthly Financial Reports: The monthly financial reports for August and September were reviewed. Carol Beals made a motion to approve the August and September financial reports, second by Dr. Neil Martin. Carried. Seminar and Training Updates: The August and September updates were reviewed. Grant Application – DOT Child Passenger Safety Seat Grant: Motion by Carol Beals to approve applying for the DOT Child Passenger Safety Seat Grant, second by Mary Kay Logemann. Carried Staffing Requests and Updates: Staffing was commented on. Recruitment is still challenging Director’s Report: A discussion on exploring the County creating a Health and Human Services Department occurred. A wage determination was done for a Physical Therapist position. Departmental restructuring was discussed with a possibility of having more separation between Public Health and the Home Nursing and Hospice programming Assistant Director’s Report: A social worker was hired (and has since resigned) Payment reform is expected in Home Nursing beginning in January 2023 Adjournment: Carol Beals made a motion to adjourn, second by Mary Kay Logemann, Carried Next meeting will be December 6, 2022 at 5:30pm.
