ECONOMIC, TOURISM AND RESOURCE COMMITTEE MINUTES
JULY 20, 2010
The Economic, Tourism and Resource Committee met on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 4:34 p.m. in Room
201, on second floor of the Administration Building in Lancaster, WI.
Members present: John Beinborn, Vincent Loeffelholz, and Grant Loy. John Patcle, County Board Chair
and Bryan Wood, Comm. Resource Development Interim Agent, were also present.
The meeting was called to order by Chair John Beinborn. Grant Loy, seconded by Vince Loeffelholz,
moved that the meeting was in compliance with the open meeting law. Motion carried.
Vince Loeffelholz, seconded by Grant Loy, made a motion to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Grant Loy, seconded by Vice Loeffelholz, made a motion to approve the minutes. Motion carried.
Bryan Wood, Comm. Resource Development Interim Agent, informed the committee that there would
be the additional amount of $1150.00 available to distribute among the grant applicants. Grant Loy,
seconded by Vince Loeffelholz, made a motion to award the following grant applicants with the
additional amounts available:
Muskets and Memories additional amount of $250.00 final amount awarded $1250.00
Film Festival additional amount of $250.00 final amount awarded $1250.00
Grant County
Historical Society additional amount of $50.00 final amount awarded $750.00
Grant County
Tourism Counsel additional amount of $50.00 final amount awarded $1350.00
Lancaster Chamber of
Commerce additional amount of $250.00 final amount awarded $1250.00
Great River Road additional amount of $50.00 final amount awarded $1150.00
Jamison Museum additional amount of $250.00 final amount awarded $1250.00
Motion carried.
New Business: Bryan Wood was asked by the committee to check on the amount of the grant money
that an applicant can receive in a year or per application.
Adjournment: John Beinborn, seconded by Grant Loy, made a motion to adjourn the meeting pursuant
to the call of the chair. Motion carried.
