11 AM on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in Room 266, second floor of the Administration Building in Lancaster, WI.
Committee Members Present: John B., Carol B., Robert S., Grant L., and Daniel T.
Also Present: Robert Keeney and Todd Johnson.
Actions Taken:
1. Robert Keeney called the meeting to order at 11:00 AM.
2. Todd J. verified that the meeting was posted in (3) locations and on the web.
3. Motion to approve the agenda by John B.
a. Motion seconded by Grant L.
b. Motion passed.
4. Motion to approve the minutes with the correction of including” Vern Lewison in attendance” by Carol B.
a. Motion seconded by Grant L.
b. Motion passed.
5. Selection of Officers:
a. Motion to nominate John B. as Chair by Carol B.
Motion seconded by Grant L.
Motion to close nominations and cast a unanimous ballot by Grant L.
Motion seconded by John S.
Motion passed
b. Motion to nominate Carol B. as Vice Chair by John B.
Motion seconded by Robert S.
Motion to close nominations and cast a unanimous ballot by Grant L.
Motion seconded by Daniel T.
Motion Passed
c. Motion to nominate Daniel T. as Secretary by Carol B.
Motion seconded by Robert S.
Motion to close nominations and cast a unanimous ballot by John B.
Motion seconded by Carol B.

6. Grant County Economic Development Corporation (GCEDC) was not present and no presentation occurred. No action taken.
7. Todd Johnson reviewed the purpose and responsibilities of the Grant County Economic, Tourism & Resource Committee as well as
on overview of the Tourism Grant process. No action taken.
8. Grant L. provided an overview of Hidden Valleys. No action taken.
9. Public was not present and so there was no “Public Comment”. No action taken.
10. Old Business: Review of history of Grant Program, Hidden Valleys, and issues with Boscobel Boat Landing. No action taken.
11. New Business: Approval for Snowmobile Resolution to occur prior to the next Grant County Board Meeting at 5:30 PM on Tuesday,
May 20th. Todd Johnson will work with Boscobel Boat Landing “stakeholders” to convene a meeting with WDNR. No action taken.
12. Motion to adjourn by Committee Member Carol B.
