EMPLOYEE RELATIONS COMMITTEE MINUTES
June 16, 2009
The Employee Relations Committee met in the Grant County Administration Building,
Room 266, Lancaster, WI, on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Chair, Maynard Behncke.
Members present were Maynard Behncke, Tony Runde, Larry Wolf, Robert Keeney,
and John Patcle. Also present was Donna Haines.
Tony Runde, seconded by Larry Wolf, moved that the meeting was in compliance with
the open meeting law. Motion carried unanimously.
John Patcle, seconded by Robert Keeney, moved to approve the agenda. Motion
carried unanimously.
Orchard Manor Request:
Donna Haines explained that a higher starting pay would be required because the
dietician position required a Masters degree or the equivalent. Robert Keeney
questioned what the pay level could be at the #6 level and what the normal starting
pay would be.
Donna replied $20.82 per hour for normal starting wage and $23.79 at #6 level, or
approximate annual wage of $43,305.60 or $49,483.20.
Tony Runde, seconded by Maynard Behcnke, moved to permit Donna to offer a
higher starting wage but not to exceed the #6 level. Motion carried unanimously.
Adjournment
John Patcle, seconded by Larry Wolf, moved to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously.
