GRANT COUNTY PARKS COMMITTEE
MINUTES OF MEETING
May 28, 2009
Chair Ivan Farness called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. at the Blue River Boat Landing.
Members present were Ivan Farness, Allan Jansen, DuWayne Carlin, Bill Biefer, County Board Chair John
Patcle. Also present were Robert Mertz, Randy Hamann and Richard Wilkinson.
DuWayne Carlin, seconded by Allan Jansen made a motion that the meeting was in compliance with
open meeting law. Motion carried.
Bluer River Landing – looked around with little discussion.
Boscobel Landing – discussed dredging and sign to keep landing open.
Boscobel Shop – toured the shop we just moved into in April.
Woodman Landing – rail at dock damaged by beavers.
Bridgeport Landing – little discussion.
Wyalusing Landing – discussed the grant for the boat landing.
Glen Haven Landing -- looked around.
Potosi Landing – looked around.
Banfield Landing – rocks in ditch talk to Highway Department.
O’Leary’s Landing – discussed repainting the dock.
Motion to adjourn was made by Al Jansen, seconded by Bill Biefer. Motion carried.
