MAY 18, 2010
The Park Committee of the Grant County Board of Supervisors met at 4:10 p.m. on May 18, 2010, in the
Grant County Board Room, Room 264, on Second Floor of the Administration Building, Lancaster, WI,
pursuant to the adjournment of the April 8, 2010 meeting.
The meeting was called to order by Ivan Farness, Chair at 4:10 p.m. Vern Lewison, seconded by Grant
Loy, made a motion that the meeting was in compliance with open meeting law. Motion carried.
Members in attendance were: Ivan Farness, Grant Loy, Robert Scallon, Vern Lewison. Also in
attendance was Bill Biefer and John Patcle, County Board Chair.
Agenda: Vern Lewison, seconded by John Patcle, made a motion to approve the agenda. Motion
carried.
John Patcle, seconded by Vern Lewison, made a motion to approve the April 8, 2010 minutes. Motion
carried.
Vern Lewison, seconded by John Patcle, made a motion to approve the April 1, 2010 minutes with the
following corrections. That Larry Austin, Surveyor, be added to the list in attendance at the April 1, 2010
meeting. That Rule Construction Inc. of Dodgeville, WI, is added to the list of company’s that submitted
bids for the Wyalusing Recreation Area Boat Landing. Motion carried.
The committee discussed the starting time of the Parks Committee Meeting scheduled for May 20, 2010
at 10:00 a.m.to tour the Boat Landings. They decided to change the meeting time to 9:00 a.m. to meet
at the Administration Building instead of 10:00 a.m. They will meet at the Administration Building at
9:00 a.m. and travel to Blue River where the rest of the board will meet and then they will have a
quorum to open the meeting.
Adjourn: Vern Lewison, seconded by Grant Loy, moved to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
