OLeary’s Three poles on floating dock need concrete poured around to hold in place. Al Jansen handed out a sheet of concerns regarding this boat Landing, reads as follows. May 20, 2010 1. Floating Dock. I talked to DNR more than a year ago, and they mailed a document that allows pouring concrete around the poles. I gave them to Paul Thares, and he told me that is taken care of, but he wants to do the Wyalusing Boat Ramp first. I haven’t seen anything from Paul, pertaining to the O’Leary’s floating dock. 2. Dumpsters at Grant County Park @ O’Leary’s. We always had one dumpster at O’Leary’s for seven months each year. Jamestown always paid the bill first during the summer, and then billed 50% to Grant County, and the other 50% billed to the Barge owner. We always got reimbursed from the County and the Barge owner. Last year Attorney Dave Leifker, representing Dubuque Conservation Society, requested a 2nd dumpster over by the Dam. He said he would pay for the 2nd Dumpster, but he only paid for 2 months. Jamestown paid the balance. Where do we go from here? Should we bill Grant County? Should we remove the 2nd dumpster? Please respond in writing. Sincerely Alan A. Jansen, Jamestown Town Clerk Adjournment: Bob Scallon, seconded by Vern Lewison, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
