PARK COMMITTEE MINUTES
APRIL 1, 2010
The Park Committee of the Grant County Board of Supervisors met in the Grant County Administration
Building, Room 264 on Second Floor of the Administration Building, Lancaster, WI pursuant to the
adjournment of the March 16, 2010 meeting.
The meeting was called to order by Chair, Ivan Farness. John Patcle, seconded by Vern Lewison, made a
motion that the meeting was in compliance with open meeting law. Motion carried.
Members in attendance were: Ivan Farness, Bill Biefer, DuWayne Carlin, Vern Lewison. John Patcle,
County Board Chair and Paul Thares, Comm. Resource Development Agent was also present.
Vern Lewison, seconded by DuWayne Carlin, made a motion to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
The committee opened the bids submitted by the following companies for the Wyalusing Recreation
Area Boat Landing:
Wamsley Excavating, Cassville, WI
Phenco Inc., Neenah, WI
Great Lakes Marine Contracting Inc., Black Creek, WI
McMullen & Pitz Construction, Manitowoc, WI
McHugh Excavating & Plumbing, Onalaska, WI
M – Z Construction Inc., Linden, WI
Tschiggfrie Excavating, Dubuque, IA
Iowa – Grant Trucking Inc., Livingston, WI
Janke General Construction, Athens, WI
The committee will check the references and credentials of the companies whom submitted the bids. A
special meeting will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 4:30 in Room 266 on second floor of the
Administration Building to award the bid.
DuWayne Carlin, seconded by John Patcle, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
