PARK COMMITTEE MINUTES
April 8, 2010
The Park Committee of the Grant County Board of Supervisors met in the Grant County Administration
Building, Room 266 on Second Floor of the Administration Building, Lancaster, Wisconsin, pursuant to
the adjournment of the April 1, 2010 meeting.
The meeting was called to order at 4:13 p.m., April 8, 2010 by Chair, Ivan Farness. John Patcle,
seconded by Al Jansen, made a motion that the meeting was in compliance with open meeting law.
Motion carried.
Members in attendance were: Ivan Farness, Bill Biefer, DuWayne Carlin, Al Jansen, Vern Lewison. Also
present was John Patcle, County Chair, Paul Thares, Comm. Resource Development Agent, Larry Austin,
County Surveyor, and Randy Hamann, River Access employee.
DuWayne Carlin, seconded by Vern Lewison, made a motion to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Ivan Farness, seconded by DuWayne Carlin, made a motion to approve the minutes. Motion carried.
Vern Lewison, seconded by Bill Biefer, made a motion to award the bid for the Wyalusing Boat Landing
Project to Rule Construction Inc. of Dodgeville, WI for $107,525.00. Motion carried.
Al Jansen wanted it noted in the minutes that the committee wanted to extend their gratitude to Paul
Thares and Bill Biefer for their hard work and extra time that they spent on this project.
Randy Hamann reported that there were three trees at the Wyalusing Boat Landing that will need to be
cut down in order to complete this project.
DuWayne Carlin, seconded by Al Jansen, moved to adjourn sine die. Motion carried.
