October 4, 2011
The Park Committee of the Grant County Supervisors met on October 4, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. in
Room 201 on second floor of the Administration Building, Lancaster, WI, pursuant to the last
meeting of September 20, 2011.
Ivan Farness, Chair called the meeting to order, verification was made that the meeting was in
compliance with the open meeting laws, published in the Herald Independent and posted in two
places.
Members present: Ivan Farness, Vern Lewison, Grant Loy, Donald Splinter and Robert Scallon.
Donald Splinter, seconded by Vern Lewison, made a motion to approve the agenda. Motion
carried.
Truck Purchase: Vern Lewison, seconded by Robert Scallon made a motion to send a
recommendation to the Executive Committee to increase the River Access Budget in an amount
up to $20,000.00 from the General Fund for the purchase of a new truck. Motion carried.
Adjournment: Robert Scallon, seconded by Vern Lewison, made a motion to adjourn the
meeting to the call of the Chair. Motion carried.
