GRANT COUNTY SANITATION & ZONING
August 16, 2012 Meeting
The County Planning & Zoning & Sanitation meeting was called to order on August 16, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. by Lester
Jantzen in the Grant County Board room of the Administration Building, 111 S. Jefferson St, Lancaster.
Zoning & Sanitation Board members present Lester Jantzen, Bob Keeney, Dwight Nelson, Grant Loy, Dale Hood, Roger
Guthrie, Pat Schroeder and County Board Chairman Larry Wolf.
Grant Loy made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Dwight Nelson. Motion carried.
Comprehensive Map Changes:
Pat Schroeder made a motion to approve the Harvey Kruser comprehensive plan change from EAZ to A-2 in Sec 1 of
Potosi Township and send to the County Board for approval, seconded by Roger Guthrie. Motion carried.
Dale Hood made a motion to approve the Stone Trust Dated 3/11/91 comprehensive plan change from EAZ to A-2 in
Sec18 of Platteville Township and send to the County Board for approval, seconded by Bob Keeney. Motion carried.
Rezones: none
Conditional Use Permits:
Pat Schroeder made a motion to approve the Conditional Use Permit for Scott Farm Ent. & Ken Houtakker in Sec 18 of
Ellenboro Township, seconded by Bob Keeney. Motion carried.
Pat Schroeder made a motion to approve the conditional Use Permit for John Kieler in Sec 25 of Jamestown Township,
seconded by Dwight Nelson. Motion carried.
Subdivision: none
Bob Keeney made a motion to approve GCS Annual Licensed Software service and sent it to the IT to take to the public
property for approval, seconded by Grant Loy. Motion carried.
Dwight Nelson made a motion to approve a new computer for the office, seconded by Roger Guthrie. Motion carried.
Sanitary Permit Summary:
Pat Schroeder made a motion to approve the Sanitary Permit Summary, seconded by Grant Loy. Motion carried.
Outstanding Order/Compliance:
Bob Keeney made a motion to approve the Outstanding Order, seconded by Roger Guthrie. Motion carried.
Bills & Vouchers:
Bob Keeney made a motion to approve the Bills & Vouchers, seconded by Dale Hood. Motion carried.
Dwight Nelson made a motion to adjourn the meeting until September 13, 1:00 p.m., seconded by Grant Loy. Motion
carried.
