GRANT COUNTY SANITATION & ZONING
February 22, 2013 Meeting
The County Planning & Zoning & Sanitation meeting was called to order on February 22, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman
Lester Jantzen in the Grant County Board room of the Administration Building, 111 S. Jefferson St, Lancaster.
Zoning & Sanitation Board members present Lester Jantzen, Dwight Nelson, Dale Hood, Pat Schroeder, Grant Loy, Roger
Guthrie and Bob Keeney.
Pat Schroeder made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded Grant Loy. Motion carried.
Dwight Nelson made a motion to approve the January minutes, seconded by Roger Guthrie. Motion carried.
Comprehensive Map Changes: none
Rezone:
#476-John & Irma Wubben in Sec1of Jamestown Township rezoning 2.42ac from Exclusive Ag to Agriculture A-2 for a
single family dwelling and Exclusive Ag to Commercial C-1 of 2.68ac for a small commercial business. Township
approved the Comprehensive plan and rezone on September 4, 2012.
Pat Schroeder made a motion to approve the rezone and send to the full County Board for approval, seconded by Grant
Loy. Motion carried.
Conditional Use Permit:
Platteville Township approved the Conditional Use Permit on February 12, 2013 for Wm Meis selling land to the Grant
County Hwy for a New County Shop in the Exclusive Ag, in Section 28 in Platteville Township.
Dale Hood made a motion to approve the Conditional Use Permit for Wm Meis, seconded by Bob Keeney. Motion
carried.
Sanitary Permit Summary:
Roger Guthrie made a motion to approve the Sanitary Permit Summary, seconded by Grant Loy. Motion carried.
Outstanding Order/Compliance:
Pat Schroeder made a motion to approve the Outstanding Order, seconded by Dwight Nelson. Motion carried.
Bills & Vouchers:
Dwight Nelson made a motion to approve the Bills & Vouchers, seconded by Roger Guthrie. Motion carried.
Dwight Nelson made a motion to adjourn the meeting until Thursday March 21, at 9:00 a.m., seconded by Grant Loy.
Motion carried.
