Grant County Conservation, Sanitation & Zoning Dept.
December 19, 2013
The County Planning & Zoning & Sanitation meeting was called to order on December 19, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. by
Chairman Lester Jantzen in the Grant County Conference room of the Administration Building, 111 S. Jefferson St,
Lancaster.
Zoning & Sanitation Board members present Lester Jantzen, Roger Guthrie, Grant Loy, Dale Hood and Bob Keeney.
Excused was Dwight Nelson.
Other present Myron Tranel, Larry Wolf, Lynda & Janet.
Roger Guthrie made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded Grant Loy. Motion carried.
Roger Guthrie made a motion to approve the November 21, 2013 minutes, seconded by Dale Hood. Motion carried.
Comprehensive Map Changes: None
Rezone:
#484 – Maring Est. to change the zoning classification from Exclusive Agriculture – EAZ to Agriculture A-2 of 10 ac in
Section 21of Paris Township. Bob Keeney made a motion to approve the rezone and send to the Grant County Board for
approval, seconded by Grant Loy. Motion carried.
#485 – Mike & Deb Moen to change the zoning classification from Exclusive Agriculture – EAZ to Agriculture A-2 of
2.95 ac in Wingville Township. Grant Loy made a motion to approve the rezone and send to the Grant County Board for
approval, seconded by Roger Guthrie. Motion carried.
Conditional Use Permit: none
Adoption of Resolution for opposition to SB-349:
After the board discussed the SB-349 a motion was made. Lester Jantzen made a motion to approve the Resolution for
opposing the SB-349 and send to the Grant County Board for approval, seconded by Dale Hood. Motion carried.
Sanitary Permit Summary:
Roger Guthrie made a motion to approve the Sanitary Permit Summary, seconded by Grant Loy. Motion carried.
Outstanding Orders/Compliance:
Bob Keeney made a motion to approve the Outstanding Orders, seconded by Dale Hood. Motion carried.
Bill & Vouchers:
Dale Hood made a motion to approve the bills & vouchers, seconded by Bob Keeney. Motion carried.
Grant Loy made a motion to adjourn the meeting until January 30, 2014 at 9:00am in the Grant County Conference room,
seconded by Dale Hood. Motion carried.
