The regular quarterly Grant County Traffic Safety Commission Meeting was called to order by
Captain Rick Place via Zoom at 1:00 p.m. The following Traffic Safety Commission members
and guests were present:

Confirmation of Open Meeting Law: The agenda was posted in the lobby at the Community
Services Building, the Administration Building and on the Grant County website.
Adoption of Agenda: The agenda was approved in motions by Jeff and second by Bob. The
minutes from the previous meeting were approved in motions by Dave and second by Bob.
Motions carried.
New Business: There is a speed reduction request in the Village of Potosi on Hwy 133. The
request is that the current speed limit be extended to River Lane Road. Dave received three
letters of concern. There are also cabin rentals in this area and another accident occurring
there recently. Someone was rear-ended while turning into the cabin rental business. Dave
will forward the letters of concern to the state for review.
Old Business: There is no Old Business to discuss.
Citizen Complaints: There are no citizen complaints to discuss at this time.
The county statistics were viewed and discussed.
The state statistics were viewed and discussed.
Other Business: No Other Business to discuss at this time.
The next meeting date will be on Wednesday, February 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the Community
Services Building and or via zoom.
It was motioned by Jeff and seconded by Andrea to adjourn to February 17 at 1:00 pm. Motion
carried.
