The regular quarterly Grant County Traffic Safety Commission Meeting was called to order by
Captain Todd Miller at 1:00 p.m. The following Traffic Safety Commission members and guests
were present:

Confirmation of Open Meeting Law: The agenda was posted in the lobby at the Community
Services Building, the Administration Building and on the Grant County website.
Adoption of Agenda: The agenda was approved. The minutes from the previous meeting were
approved in motions by Justin McLimans and second by Andrea Droessler. Motion carried.

Citizen Complaints: There are no Citizen Complaints to discuss.
Other Business: No Other Business to discuss at this time.
Todd Miller discussed the need to get more agencies involved with Highway Safety and the
committee. A goal or purpose for meetings would be more beneficial than just reporting
statistics. Very few agencies submit their statistics so the data is not accurate.
The two motorcycle fatalities were discussed and reviewed. Both were driver errors. Rumble
strips may help at this intersection. The committee will be updated at the next meeting after
Todd speaks with the Highway Department.
It was motioned by Andrea Droessler and seconded by Justin McLimans to adjourn to February
11, 2025 at 1:00 pm. Motion carried.
