HomeMy WebLinkAbout04 Task Force December 2 2022 minutesGRANT COUNTY OPIOID SETTLEMENT TASK FORCE December 2, 2022 The Opioid Settlement Task Force met on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Administration Building, 111 S. Jefferson Street, Lancaster, WI 53813 in Room 264, Second Floor. Those present in the room were: Robert Keeney, Gary Ranum, Jeff Lockhart, Carol Beals, Troy Maggied, Misty Molzof, Ellen Tyler and Grace Nieland with the Telegraph Herald. Those present by Zoom were: Jeff Kindrai, Megan Wolf, Michelle Farrell, Jim Boebel and Mark Hoehne. The meeting was called to order at 2:06 p.m. by Robert Keeney. The County Clerk verified that the meeting was in compliance with the open meeting law, posted in the Administration Building, Courthouse and on the county website. Agenda: Gary Ranum, second by Carol Beals made a motion to approve the agenda. Motion carried by voice vote. Minutes: Jim Boebel, second by Jeff Kindrai made a motion to approve the minutes from the prior meetings. Motion carried by voice vote. Opioid Needs Assessment Presentation by SWWRPC: Misty Molzof, SWWRPC presenting the draft plan with the Task Force. There was discussion on how to title the document. Molzof advised that she did reach out and interview several stakeholders. The document includes the greatest local needs identified, a list of existing local resources and assets and a recommendation of best practices moving forward in the decision-making process. Next steps will be a coordinated information site, pulling resources together and to come up with a plan that leverages the dollars. The final draft should be ready mid- January. Adjournment: Carol Beals, second by Jeff Lockhart made a motion to adjourn. Motion carried by voice vote.
