HomeMy WebLinkAbout10 October 15 2025 minutesAging & Disability Resource Center for Grant County October 15, 2025 The ADRC Committee met on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at the Community Services Building, 8820 Hwy 35/61/81, Lancaster, WI 53813 in the Lobby Conference Room. Attendance: Gary Kjos, Lester Jantzen, Robert Keeney, Valerie Bailey, Vicki Hirsch, Mark Stead, Kathy Kopp, Mary Lou Bausch, Lori Reid, Nate Dreckman and Tonya White. Chairman Kjos called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. It was noted that the meeting was in compliance with the open meeting law, posted on the county website, in the Administration Building, CSB, sent to the newspaper and radio station. Agenda: Valerie Bailey, second by Mary Lou Bausch made a motion to approve the agenda. Motion carried by voice vote with no negative votes. Minutes: Kathy Kopp, second by Valerie Bailey made a motion to approve the minutes from the September 17, 2025 meeting. Motion carried by voice vote with no negative votes. Public Comment/Communication: There were no public comments. Advocacy Reports or Activities Public Hearing for 85.21: A public hearing for the 85.21 grant is required. A tentative date for the hearing is November 13, 2025 at CSB and a location in the northern part of Grant County. Elderfest schedule: ADRC is looking for volunteers to assist with the registration table and concession stand. Upcoming Events: A list of upcoming events was distributed. 2025-27 Aging Plan Review: The Aging Plan has been reviewed and approved by the new consultant and incorporates a pilot program for Find Your Own Driver, nutrition prioritization, tech savvy, revamping and revitalizing the care giver support group along with adding an advocacy corner in the ADRC newsletter. ADRC application update – DCS MOU, budget application: The State has not responded with questions they have pertaining to the application and award. The budget and Dementia Care Specialist MOU have been approved. Transportation Program Fares – Passenger: There was no action taken on the fares for passengers. MCO contracts for transportation – fares, scheduling fees: Currently ADRC contracts with Inclusa. There is no scheduling fee for the MCO for the bus and taxi and a $6.00 scheduling fee per ride for TRIPS and Wheelchair Van. The bus operates three days a week, the taxi Tuesday through Friday, the wheelchair van and trips program are on demand. Valerie Bailey, second by Mark Stead made a motion to increase the scheduling fee for Trips to $7.00 per ride for a 20206 contract with Inclusa. Motion carried by voice vote without negative vote. NFCSP – de-obligation of funds: ADRC did request to de-obligate $10,000 that were not spent from the grant. Approval of Vouchers: Lester Jantzen, second by Vicki Hirsch made a motion to approve the vouchers. Motion carried by voice vote with no negative votes. Financial Report: Mark Stead, second by Valerie Bailey made a motion to approve the financial report. Motion carried by voice vote with no negative votes. Reports ADRC – Grant County Director’s Report • Continuing to work on the budget and MOU with Symons Recreational • Caregiver renewal day is November 5th • Elderfest preparation; there is 40 vendors • End of the year for Aging programs is September • Medicare open enrollment • Transportation grant is due in December ADRC – Program Reports • They did fix the database for the Elder Benefits Specialist and Disability Benefit Specialist Adjourn: Mark Stead, second by Lester Jantzen made a motion to adjourn.
