have done on our part to try and make it run smooth.
We have three generators that have been donated to use during the fair only for the beef barn.
We discussed having a new livestock auction photographer this year. Any help by the
superintendents will be greatly appreciated this year.
Discussion on best practices and safety concerns in the barn, not only during show day but
during the fair.
Manure clean up. We have the Grant County Highway Department coming in on Tuesday after
the fair to take the rest of the manure to Bob Stader’s farm. Amy asked the superintendents to
please remind the exhibitors to have everything cleaned out so maintenance can push it all out
Monday to be ready for Tuesday.
Morningside Assist Living will be coming on Friday afternoon. Superintendents were told there
will be a parade with ATV/UTVs in the area.
Committee night was discussed. Charisse reiterated the purpose of committee night and trying to
keep that separated from fair issues and concerns. Changes for 2026 can be listed on the sheet
that night and will be brought up at a fair board meeting, but committee night is used to focus on
programing and improvements for 2026. Comments are also welcomed as well in the comment
box.
