EDUCATION/FAIR COMMITTEE MEETING

8:00 a.m.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Roger Guthrie. Present in addition to Guthrie were Joe
Mumm, Kathy Kopp, Pat Schroeder, Gary Northouse, Mike Timmerman, Bob Keeney, Amy Olson, Lori
Vesperman, Nate Dreckman, Charisse Orth, Justin McLimans, Todd Miller, Steve Braun, Vince Heiman
and Gabby Heiman.
The meeting notice was posted at the Administration Building, Extension Office and Youth & Ag Center
and media by Amy Olson.
Motion by Gary Northouse, seconded by Kathy Kopp, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Carnival - Vince reported on the carnival and turned the financial statement in from Thursday.
Policing – no issues.
Steve Braun – low chance of rain/thunderstorms late.
Judging - no known issues.
Exhibits/Exhibitors – Three exhibitors did not identify poultry; therefore, they cannot sell in the livestock
auction.
Entertainment – Thursday night entertainment was discussed.
Discussion was held on dogs being on the Fairgrounds.
Recess until Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Motion carried.
