Health & Human Services Committee Report
Date: November 2025
Updates:
We continue to keep an eye on measle cases and respiratory illnesses. Currently the respiratory season has been low.
Here is a link to the Respiratory Virus Data. It is updated weekly.

Page 2 is a snapshot of flu shots received for Wisconsin. It is behind a week as the reporting system was down, but it still isn’t great as far as numbers. Hoping we don’t have a bad
flu season if immunizations are down. We continue to offer influenza and covid vaccines out of our office for everyone.
We have been very busy giving vaccines out in the community. We worked at Elderfest and just there provided 169 vaccines (covid, influenza, pneumonia) in 3 hours. That’s almost one vaccine
every minute!
Update on EMR- we have chosen an EMR! Kim signed the contract for MatrixCare last week.
We had 2 nurses complete the rabies observation training. This was a one-day training with a difficult exam at the end of the training. We just got word that both passed. This training
will eventually help our office with Animal Bite Orders.
Busy with end of year reports/budgets for new grant periods
Watching the government shutdown. WIC has money through November for participants. Going week by week.
