-Home Care census: 55 with 22 people waiting to be admitted
-Hospice census: 10
-Actively recruiting for our open position of home care/hospice nurse
-We will be picking our EMR by the end of this month. Working with both companies to see if they can give us a deal since we will be paying 3 years up front.
-Health Department staff participated in the Harvest parade in Lancaster. Thank you to the staff who help decorate the float and those that walked in the parade along with their family.
-I participated in a hospice boot camp via zoom over 3 days last month. In depth discussion on how to improve our hospice charting and explore the new HOPE platform that CMS has rolled
out starting Oct. 1.
