p.m. at the County Services Building, 8820 Hwy 35/81, Lancaster. You can attend in person or

Meeting Agenda
1) Call to Order: Call to Order by Todd Miller at 1:01 pm. Present were Todd M, Craig
R, Todd H, Justin M, Jon K, Andrea D, Roberty K, Austin Coppernoll (Regional
Planning) and Francis Schelfhout (DOT) Sherry Quamme (Mississippi River
Commission)
2) Confirmation of open meeting law: Posted at CSB, Website and Courthouse
3) Adoption of agenda: Motion to adopt Justin M / Robert K
4) Approval of minutes of last quarterly meeting: Craig R / Robert K
5) New Business
• Mississippi River Trail Bike Route: Motion to forward the “approved route”
as on the provided resolution to the full county board by Craig R / Justin M
6) Old Business
a) ATV Routes Updates-Robert Keeney: No update currently. Waiting feedback
from Joe Lamere DOT after updates last meeting.

b) Hwy 61 / CTH B / Abing Rd Intersection Updates-Jon Knautz / DOT: New signage
going up next month.
c) Social Media Updates: Reminder to keep promoting traffic/hwy safety on social
media. Question on if doing any self funded clickit or ticket. Craig R advised we
would try to make an intentional effort and make a social media post for
Memorial Day.
d) Hwy 81 / CTH D –Advanced Warning Signs –Jon Knautz: Advance warning signs
are up, can be removed from future agenda.
7) Citizen comments or complaints: None
8) Statistical Reports
▪ 1st Quarter Statistics-Crashes/Impaired Driving
▪ Fatality Reports
These can come off moving forward. Most everything is available on
Community Maps now or in the near future.
9) Transportation Safety Report and Highway Safety Input Todd H: Two fatals since last
meeting. CTH U and Stenner Hill. Also was a reminder as we enter the peak of
construction season, even if a crash does not happen within the signed area of a
construction zone, but is caused by the construction zone, continue to mark “Work
Zone” on DT4000. Also brought up about marking blood collected on fatals even if it
is Coroner blood.
10) Any other business: Jon K advised of the major project on 151 Kieler to DBQ.
Supposed to start July.
11) Confirmation of next meeting dates – Next Meeting Aug 12th 1:00 pm
